One friend shared: "We are on the outer fields of the storm, we have storms off the Ocean that are huge and noisy and rare and we do just fine. WE will be fine, entire systems prepared to help in any way possible.  I'm sure from the computer pictures I've seen, the storm will be intense in some areas, but not here......AND if it takes a strange turn OVER us, we will still be fine.  Bar Harbor, the Mount Desert Island, is a GRANITE ROCK.
