I am paying attention. The recent earthquake in Haiti shook me & my world. Haiti is now getting attention & assistance from nearly every country on this Earth; every being in some way of another, is feeling the impact.

Saleena: This has come as part of our Mother Earth’s & our own ascension process, riding on waves of intense cosmic galactic energies already pulsing our earth, our bodies, our minds, our spirits. Changing our reality as we knew it to something yet unknown, even if we are the ones dreaming it in. We have all been experiencing a vast array of unusual & intense symptoms as the frequencies shift to higher dimensions, pushing us upward with it. We have been going through some really heavy symptoms lately… & these are described in many of the latest channeled messages… Several messages have come through that I resonate with & have helped soothe me in knowing that I am not the only one…. The first message I read was a report from a woman working inside the scene. It was gruesome & desperate, pleading for us all to send funds, money assistance as soon as possible. Millions have responded in a variety of ways… money has been donated, doctors & medics are being sent in from all over the world, supplies sent. People of different cultures & beliefs are working side by side with many different skills in a situations that is impossible to understand unless you are there in the middle of it. Some places have been impossible to get to yet. People are suffering, injured & in need of food & water everywhere. There are some violent ones in so much fear or conditioning they choose to act out in aggressive ways. Yet there are reports of people singing, praying & helping each other.
This “disaster” invited me to look around to see what more I could do to continue the birthing process of a reality I desire to help create in our New Universe. So I began to read & assimilate all the messages coming through about Haiti & the Earth Quake. Looking for a bigger perspective in it all. It seems to me that all that is built on the old paradigm is crumbling in one way or another.
Where we Used to Live...
My intention here is to open my heart & ask for inspiration to help present an overview with a possible expanded view of what is happening here. I will include many links to all the information & images pouring through.
There are a complex & colorful array of ideas, judgments, energies, images & messages flowing in & around us all right now.
I believe our Earth & Human reputation is on the radar, that we are being watched by the higher dimensional beings; Extra, Ultra & Inner Terrestrials to see where we are in our waking up process;
How will we respond?
What will each of us do with this opportunity open right now?
Will we ask for their assistance?
Will we take compassionate action?

One of the challenges that is faced there is the violence via the armed Gangs. Even when supplies are being delivered freely there is an element of danger from aggressive humans attempting to take them all for themselves. Fear, greed, oppression & separation symptoms being played out.
Another consideration is the children, what will happen to all the orphaned and homeless children?

The first message I received was an email from a woman who reported her perspective from the inside. It was desperate & gruesome, with no assistance in sight & the assistance that was organized being stopped at the borders & refused entry. No planes beings allowed to land.
From a Lightworker:
Since Naomi is our friend & we know her I will share her response: “I watch/listen to several TV stations at once, most of the dire circumstances she reports is not true. I see pictures of Mexican and Israeli search and rescue teams, many tents with MDs and nurses, MANY planes landing, huge transport planes unloading tons of cargo from China, Qatar, Israel, etc. etc. They decided NOT to unload in places where there were groups of people so whatever they had to unload could be immediately distributed, the chaos that ensued made folks want to unload AWAY from people.
Many say it will take YEARS to uncover all the destruction. Big bulldozers are coming into PAP this week to move the debris. Only God knows how many bodies will be found then. The US was sending ‘mortuary teams’ last week, haven’t heard if they had arrived yet, they know how to photograph bodies, keep records, etc. so families have closure. Reporters are giving away the water in their cars, the clothes off their backs, it’s a horrendous situation.
I have no way of knowing the author of this email and I have no doubt whatsoever that the situation on the ground in Haiti/PAP is beyond comprehension. I don’t believe the situation has to be exaggerated beyond the horrors of the existing reality. No roads, no harbor, no airport functioning, it’s worse than the worst nightmare.
I was in PAP, Haiti in 1995 on business for five days – using my high school French. I wanted every single American Jr High and High School student to come for two days to PAP, just two short days, to see Haiti’s world. Then go home back to the States and be grateful for all they had. I was convinced all it would take would be two days. The relentless, grinding poverty was beyond comprehension.
Spirit has given us HUGE lessons, HUGE observations, HUGE witnessing. Much discernment is needed on every level. Love, Naomi

As some of you already know, I have deep roots in Haiti. My mother is from this desperately impoverished nation. I have many close relatives in Port-au-Prince, Pétionville, and other earthquake affected areas. We had heard from only a few in the first hours. Since then, very little. The rest of my family we have no information on and it’s extremely hard to get information. On an ordinary day these people have little (if anything) to eat, little or no water, electricity, or much of anything else.
On FM4’s Reality Check, I listened to reports that motivated me to ask you all to give a little help. Whether it’s 50 Euros or 5 Euros, how ever much or what little you can give, ANY donation amount would be helpful. On the FM4/ORF homepage there are HELP-FUL links (in Austria) to a number of organizations you can donate to. You could choose one and take 5 minutes to TAKE ACTION. For those of you in the U.S., U.K. or elsewhere, I am sure there is an adequate data base of charities to choose from, but some i’ve donated to in the past include: UNICEF, World Food Programme, and The Red Cross to name a few.
I urge you to listen to this podcast to get a sense of what is going on there.

Saleena: I am heartened by the message Marimar shared today about how the people in Léogane, the town closest to the epicenter, finally stopped waiting for someone to come help & started helping themselves. I am cheering for them & apparently, from my dreams, I am right there working with them, mucking through the rubble, at another level. I am using my imagination vividly to assist them in easing the situation, bringing in compassionate help and creating miraculous events to ease the trauma day after day.

LEOGANE, HAITI — Townspeople say as many as 500 nuns, priests and students were crushed to death when the cream-colored walls of the Sainte Rose de Lima School collapsed in last Tuesday’s earthquake, a disaster that destroyed the emotional and physical centerpiece of this city.
A town in which everyone lost someone in the quake, Leogane has come alive with the energy and enterprise that comes with knowing you’re on your own. This provincial hub immediately west of the quake’s epicenter, and dozens of other towns along Haiti’s southern finger, has been reduced to chunks and masonry, lumber and dust, leaving thousands dead.

Haiti’s Disastrous Earthquake Hits Children Hardest

“As rescue and humanitarian teams from across the globe began to assemble to aid the true toll of Wednesday’s devastating earthquake has only begun to emerge. The homeless and wounded fill the streets, thousands missing, and bodies are continuing to mount, though the true number of dead is far from known, as estimates are ranging from 50,000 to over 100,000.
The poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, the impoverished country has already been continually devastated by successive hurricanes over the last two years alone, destroyed much of the already fragile and overburdened infrastructure in the most densely populated part of the country. A massive and immediate international response is needed to provide food, water, shelter, and medical supplies for tens of thousands of people.” “…Such a large scale disaster will undoubtedly leave thousands and thousands of children, and their families, at an increased to be victimized by modern slavery.”

Why Does Haiti Suffer So Much?

My Haitian in-laws, visiting from Boston, Massachusetts, to take some comfort with us, announced that the verse of the day on their favorite Bible Web site is from Revelation 16:18. “And there were voices and thunders and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as has not been since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake and so great.”
The word “earthquake” appears sixteen times in the Bible. It was clear to them — and many other Christians — that the earthquake was part of God’s plan. Why God ordains such disasters is a mystery that is not ours to question.
Fundamentalist Pat Robertson says that the earthquake is the devil’s work. Haitians are cursed by a pact with Satan that their ancestors made, he says. Distorting a Haitian national myth, he is referring to a famous Afro-Creole religious service said to have sparked and launched the Haitian War of Independence in 1791. Ironically, historians tell us that such a single ceremony never happened –although surely there were many slave gatherings, and many Afro-Creole religious rituals in the region.
Haitians do not mistake African religiosity for Satanism as Robertson does, so for them the ceremony was a spiritually charged political rally. Slaves gathered to plan and inspire themselves for the outrageous feat they would succeed in performing: a slave revolution, the abolition of slavery, and by 1804, national independence.
Afro-Creole religion, known as Vodou, still underpins the philosophy of many Haitians, though by no means everyone. A spirit-priest I know reads the earthquake as an allegorical message from the spirits who infuse the land.
“The land is our mother,” he said. When you abuse the land — deforest her, plant only one crop, overpopulate her, erode her soil — she explodes, searching for a way to rebalance.
The spirit of the land had become sick with abuse. Her children — the eldest ones, the ones in charge, the Haitian government — had no policies, no laws to protect the land or use it wisely. The spirit-mother exploded with fever. “We know this has a scientific cause,” said the spirit-priest. “But look how the government buildings caved in. This tells us something.”
In the last several years there has been a saying among Haitians that “the country is finished.” “Peyi-a fini,” they say in Creole. It has been called a dying land, a failed state, a product of irreversible environmental degradation.
The suffering Haitians are enduring is a natural disaster worsened by human-made conditions. It is a spiritual crucible. But it is also a crisis of meaning.
For Christians it is to have faith, hope, and charity.
For fundamentalist Protestants, it is to convert all souls, give aid, and wait for Jesus’ return.
For Vodouists, it is to regain balance with the land and the unseen spiritual world.

Unlike a century or more ago, your television brings them into your living room and often you see it live. It has had the effect of bringing out the best in people, and is helping break down barriers that used to exist. Can you not marvel at the way your evolutionary path has developed, as in such a short time you have begun to accept that you are your brother’s keeper. If the money and energy spent on war and preparing for it were re-directed into such good causes, poverty and disease could be eradicated quite quickly. However, that level of change will not occur until we are working together, as your old regime obstinately holds on to their agenda for world control…”
“There are in fact a multitude of groups that have recognised the rising concern for others, and you are seeing the first signs of a movement that is bringing people of a like kind together. They are the first to respond to need, and by their example are catching the imagination of many others.”
